Metal Work and the Erminio Bonatti Foundation are proud to support the project "Nutrition as Patient Care" promoted by the Spedali Civili Foundation. This initiative aims to implement Nutritional Support in the hospitals of Gardone Val Trompia and Montichiari.

The mission of the Spedali Civili Foundation is to improve community health by raising funds for healthcare and social-healthcare activities. Operating in the four hospitals of Gardone Val Trompia, Montichiari, Brescia, and the Children's Hospital, as well as numerous outpatient facilities in the area, the Foundation is committed to ensuring excellent healthcare, supporting research, improving hospital facilities, and promoting professional training for medical and healthcare staff.

The project "Nutrition as Patient Care" focuses on clinical nutrition, a crucial medical discipline for maintaining or achieving an adequate nutritional state through preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic strategies.

The service was already active at the Brescia facility, where a nutritionist doctor and a group of dietitians work. However, for the hospitals in Gardone Val Trompia and Montichiari, it was managed only remotely through video calls. To ensure high-quality nutritional treatment for all patients of ASST Spedali Civili, the project includes hiring a qualified healthcare professional, such as a dietitian, who will provide clinical nutrition services directly at the hospitals of Gardone Val Trompia and Montichiari, thereby ensuring adequate and personalized nutritional support for each patient.
